On desktop, tauri-plugin-dialog 2.6.0 replaces window.confirm with an async
function: confirm(...) returned a Promise, always truthy, so every guard
`if (!confirm(...)) return;` let the action run before the user answered.
Deleting a secondary profile removed its database even on "Cancel".
- confirmAction() (src/services/confirmService.ts) calls the plugin's ask()
with a warning icon and buttons labelled in the app language
(common.confirm / common.cancel); a failed call resolves false and is
logged (fail closed). @tauri-apps/plugin-dialog 2.6.0 added, the crate's
version.
- The six sites await it: profile, category, adjustment, budget template and
Balance category deletions, and both confirmations of the license key
removal (performRemoveLicense takes an async confirm).
- native-dialog-guard.test.ts fails on any native confirm/alert in src/ and
on any confirmation not awaited (TypeScript does not flag `!promise`).
- Tests: confirmService, the deletion of a profile in ProfileFormModal, and
the license removal tests with an async confirm (test: reproduces #421:
six of them were red on the old code).

npm audit reported 8 vulnerabilities (5 high, 3 moderate) on the lock
of main: react-router and react-router-dom (one advisory,
GHSA-qwww-vcr4-c8h2), vitest and @vitest/mocker (one advisory,
GHSA-82fw-gwwq-j7x9), browserslist, baseline-browser-mapping, nanoid
and source-map-js. Every fix sits within the range package.json
already declares, so only the lock moves; package.json is untouched.
Lock generated with npm 11.21.0 exactly:
npx --yes npm@11.21.0 update react-router-dom react-router vitest \
@vitest/mocker browserslist baseline-browser-mapping nanoid \
source-map-js --package-lock-only --ignore-scripts
259 entries before and after, 20 changed, each resolved from
registry.npmjs.org with a new sha512 integrity. npm ci, under npm 10
and under npm 11.19.0, leaves the lock as is; npm audit: 0.
Only react-router 7.18.1 -> 7.18.4 changes the built app: a build from
a lock where only react-router moved equals the full build byte for
byte. Since 7.18.3, useNavigate() and <Navigate> reject a navigation
to another origin; the app only navigates to internal paths.
CLAUDE.md and docs/architecture.md no longer describe 2 high
advisories accepted for good: npm audit is at 0 on 2026-10-10, a
dated reading that nothing re-runs in CI.

Bump 0.14.0 -> 0.15.0 in the five manifests, open the 0.15.0 section in
both changelogs (17 entries: edition-based feature gating, the CSV import
rework with migration v17, three dependency advisory batches), and fix the
stale "Version actuelle" line in CLAUDE.md (was 0.6.3).

npm update postcss moves it 8.5.13 -> 8.5.23, clearing GHSA-r28c-9q8g-f849
(path traversal in previous-source-map auto-loading via a sourceMappingURL
comment, arbitrary .map disclosure, 7.5 high). No overrides entry needed,
unlike #241: vite declares postcss ^8.5.3 and 8.5.23 is published, so the
existing range already permitted the fix and only the lockfile carried a
stale resolution. nanoid 3.3.11 -> 3.3.16 comes along as postcss's own
dependency, within its declared range.
postcss IS the CSS pipeline, so a green build only proves compilation. The
emitted stylesheet was diffed across the bump and is byte-for-byte identical
(same content hash, same asset filename).
The remaining react-router advisory (GHSA-qwww-vcr4-c8h2, RSC Mode CSRF
bypass) is accepted rather than fixed. It targets React Server Components,
which a Tauri desktop app never runs — App.tsx mounts a client-only
BrowserRouter and src/ has no createStaticHandler, StaticRouter or server
rendering. There is also nothing to move forward to: react-router-dom is
frozen at 7.18.1 since v8 merged the package into react-router, so npm's
proposed "fix" is a downgrade to 7.11.0, and leaving the affected range
means migrating to react-router v8. Re-evaluation trigger tracked in #317.
Unlike the Rust side, no CI gate is involved: check-frontend.yml runs no
npm audit step, so nothing turns red. That expectation is now written down
in docs/architecture.md and CLAUDE.md so the two permanent high findings do
not read as a regression.
npm audit: 3 findings -> 2 (high 3 -> 2), postcss cleared.
npm ci + npm run build + 871 vitest green.

@babel/core@7.29.0 (pulled transitively by @vitejs/plugin-react, build-only)
was flagged by GHSA-4x5r-pxfx-6jf8 (arbitrary file read via sourceMappingURL,
low, CVSS 3.2). npm audit fix cannot resolve it — the version is pinned by the
parent — so a scoped overrides entry forces the patched 7.29.7 within the
parent's accepted 7.x range (non-breaking). npm audit now reports 0.

vite@6.4.2: server.fs.deny bypass (GHSA-fx2h-pf6j-xcff, high) + NTLMv2 hash
disclosure (GHSA-v6wh-96g9-6wx3, moderate) -- Windows-only, dev server.
vitest@4.0.18: UI server arbitrary file read/exec (GHSA-5xrq-8626-4rwp,
critical) -- only when 'vitest --ui' is listening. Both dev-only. Bumped
within 6.x/4.x (no major). 635 tests pass, build green.
npm audit: 3 -> 1 (only @babel/core low remains; left out deliberately --
audit fix adds 77 packages without resolving it, needs a scoped override
in a separate change).

react-router-dom@7.13.0 pulled react-router@7.13.0, affected by 7 advisories
(turbo-stream RCE, DoS __manifest/single-fetch, XSS RSC redirect), corrected
in <7.15.1. Bumping the parent to 7.18.1 pulls react-router@7.18.1 and clears
both npm audit entries. react-router-dom carries no advisory of its own (#238
inherited transitively from #235). Build (tsc + vite) green; no major bump.

Transitive dependency via vite (range ^8.5.3 already accepts the fix).
Lockfile-only change; no package.json modification needed.
Advisory GHSA-qx2v-qp2m-jg93 is a moderate severity XSS via unescaped
</style> in the CSS stringifier output. postcss runs at build time only
and never ships in the Tauri binary, so practical exposure is nil — but
this clears the npm audit warning and the defenseur finding.

Add vitest and 17 tests covering computeDateRange (all periods
including January rollover) and buildMonthOptions (length, order,
rollover, label formatting). Add test/test:watch npm scripts.

Add a toggle button to BudgetVsActualTable and BudgetTable that lets
users choose whether parent subtotal rows appear before or after their
children. The preference is persisted in localStorage and shared across
both tables.

Auto-fix duplicate sort_order values on load, auto-assign sort_order on
category creation, and add drag-and-drop via @dnd-kit to reorder and
reparent categories in the tree (with 2-level nesting constraint).

Add a Settings page with about card (app name + version) and an update
section that uses the Tauri v2 updater plugin to check GitHub Releases,
download signed installers, and relaunch. Includes full state machine
(idle/checking/available/downloading/readyToInstall/installing/error)
with progress bar and retry. Database in %APPDATA% is never touched.
- Add tauri-plugin-updater and tauri-plugin-process (Rust + npm)
- Configure updater endpoint, pubkey placeholder, and passive install mode
- Add signing env vars and updaterJsonPreferNsis to release workflow
- Add Settings nav item, route, and fr/en translations
